Snow Day With Eva

Snow Day With Eva

I hope you enjoy the snow day with Eva. When I woke up and looked outside, the first thing I asked was ” Do we have school today?” Do you know what my dad said? He said no and that made me really excited. After I played in the snow, I gathered some snow (with the help of my brother) and we made snow cream. We were almost out of sugar so it tasted decent.

Later, I played Minecraft with my friends and chilled. We had a snowball fight. What we did was we built our own forts out of snow and then we made windows and stuff so we could hit each other with snowballs. No one ended up winning because we left the game. So… yeah.

Interesting Facts About Snow

Since it snowed today where I am I thought I would share some interesting facts about snow so here they are…

  1. It can snow at temperatures above freezing. It has snowed at 46 degrees before.
  2. Sometimes snowflakes can be as big as a plate that you eat off of!!! They can stick together while they are still in the air and become very large.
  3. Snowflakes can be identical.
  4. Snow is actually clear.  Snow is made out of ice crystals, so when light passes through, it bounces off each crystal.
  5. The world’s largest snowman was 122 feet tall. WOW, THAT’S TALL!!!
